Is the quoted rent a per bedroom rate, or for the whole apartment?
  • We offer individual leasing for each resident and bedroom.
    Your student will only be responsible for their rent – they will not be responsible for their roommates’ rent unless they choose to share a bedroom.

     
How will Two21 know who to place together as roommates?
  • Once the online application is complete, your student will complete a Placement Questionnaire that is separate from the application. The information on that form will provide us with all of your student's preferences including whom they want to be placed with or if they will need roommate matching assistance. Please be advised that if a desired roommate fails to complete an application prior to placement, a roommate match from the waitlist will be assigned.

Are the apartments furnished?
  • While our units do include a full-sized washer and dryer, all units are unfurnished. You will need to provide 100% of all of the bedroom furniture for your apartment and communicate with future roommates about common area furniture.
     
What if the student applying is under the age of 19?
  • If an applicant is under the age of 19 on the date the application is submitted, a parent or guardian over the age of 19 must sign the lease with the future resident. All guarantors are listed as a leaseholder to allow more communication concerning your student's lease once they have moved in. Please be advised that only residents and guarantors can communicate about lease details legally. We understand that some parents of our residents are not guarantors of a lease. There will be times when non-guarantor parents will need permission from a leaseholder to access or make changes to rental accounts or apartments..
     
As a parent, do I just complete the application with my information?
  • When filling out the application, please be sure that the "applicant" is the student's personal information. Please do not add parent's email or phone numbers in this section.  On the "occupant" tab in the application, please add the guarantor and his/her contact information. An invitation link will be sent to the guarantor to complete their application on a separate profile.
     
Once I complete an application, am I guaranteed an apartment?
  • Please be aware that all applications are placed on a wait list until the renewal process for the property is complete. A completed application is not a guarantee for placement.
